The Health and Physical Education Program
promotes healthy active living. Courses help students understand how their
personal actions and decisions affect their health, fitness and well-being.
Courses in Grades 9 through to 12 focus on
physical activity. Through active participation in a well-balanced enjoyable
program (i.e., individual, dual, team, fitness, interactive games), students
will explore and continue to improve their movement skills, personal fitness,
and personal competence. The program helps students commit to a lifelong
physical and spiritual wellness program.
